The Regional Action Plan for the Circular Economy (PRAEC) aims to accelerate the transformation of Réunion's economy toward a circular, less linear economy that engages all local stakeholders. Réunion Réunion and Réunion Développement brought together all local stakeholders to present this plan and collectively undertake a review of the actions implemented in the region. Fifty stakeholders were present on Thursday, September 30th at the MOCA in St Denis.

Réunion Développement is leading the "PRAEC" strategic circular economy plan

In June 2024, the Réunion Region adopted its Regional Waste Prevention and Management Plan (PRPGD), which includes the Regional Action Plan for the Circular Economy: the "PRAEC." The latter aims to accelerate the transformation of Réunion's economy towards a circular, less linear economy, which engages all local stakeholders. Réunion Développement is tasked by the regional authority to lead this PRAEC in 2025 with the entire ecosystem.
