La Réunion at the In Cyber Forum 2025: A Notable First for the Region

From April 1st to 3rd, 2025, La Réunion participated in the In Cyber Forum (FIC), Europe's leading event dedicated to cybersecurity, held at the Grand Palais in Lille. This strategic participation marks a significant milestone for the island, now recognized as a key player in digital security in the Indo-Pacific region.

For the first time, a delegation composed of six Réunion-based companies, the Cyber Réunion resource center, and Clusir Réunion appeared under the unified banner "La Réunion, territoire de confiance numérique" (La Réunion, Territory of Digital Trust). Positioned prominently opposite the press area, the Réunion Pavilion provided exceptional visibility to local actors, highlighting the dynamism and territorial ambition in the secure digital sector.

The six Réunion-based cybersecurity companies showcased a diverse range of expertise, including security audits (EXA SI), comprehensive cybersecurity management solutions (EYAKO), eco-responsible web hosting (HODI), offensive cybersecurity solutions (SOOBIK Solutions), secure managed services and networking (YOUTELL), and highly secure high-speed connectivity (Zeop Entreprise).

La Réunion Développement and Cyber Réunion played pivotal roles in actively supporting these enterprises through a coordinated initiative by the Regional Council, backed by the FEDER-FSE Réunion program.

The event also spotlighted local excellence, recognized at the European level through the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH), an initiative co-financed by the Regional Council and the European Union, showcasing tangible recognition of Réunion's capabilities.

Thanks to this successful participation at FIC 2025, La Réunion has affirmed its ambition to become a major regional cybersecurity hub, capable of attracting investments and talent, while strengthening international partnerships.

This strong and unified presence represents a tangible advancement toward a secure and ambitious digital future for Réunion, ready to shine far beyond its borders.
