Description
Mark Kleyner is a venture capital expert, corporate innovation specialist, start-up advisor and ecosystem builder with extensive experience in global and emerging markets. He has worked across four continents with leading investment firms, launched multiple venture capital initiatives, and trained hundreds of investors through Dream VC's industry-leading venture capital development programmes. Prior to co-founding Dream VC, Mark worked at more than seven venture capital firms, where he developed investment strategies and guided funds into new markets. He has helped launch three funds of over $10 million, trained over 600 early-stage founders, and mentored at the Founder Institute, Seedstars, Village Capital, and other global accelerator programmes. Recognised as an advocate and thought leader in corporate venture capital, Mark has advised multinational corporations and institutional investors on corporate venture capital strategy, helping them navigate the complexities of investing in Africa, the Middle East, Asia and other emerging markets. His expertise spans corporate-startup partnerships, strategic venture capital investments, and innovation-driven growth. At Dream VC, Mark is a lecturer in all training programmes, leads corporate growth and B2B initiatives, and co-leads EDGE by Dream VC, which helps companies design and develop CVC strategies for emerging markets.
